not if you play it smart. NYC loves HH and there are a plethora of bars that have $5-6 mid shelf cocktails and martinis during the week... plus work HH's are usually expensed (if I'm going somewhere expensive I'll usually do it with some coworkers). Weekends get a little more expensive with $100-200 nights being the norm after cabs and the odd doorcharge. But you can keep it from getting crazy with a little pregaming.

Needless to say I drink a lot, and this thread is making me feel guilty about it.

Well then just accept that you have made your choice. Some of us choose drinking, some choose our physiques. It's all a matter of priorities.

And some of us want both, with some narcotics thrown in for good measure.

Bart
P.S. I'm kidding.

yeah but only when you are feeding it to the girl. I think it is idiotic that guys need alcohol to have the balls to talk to girls. I go out drinking to have a good time w/ my friends. Just so happens that we go to places where there are girls who have drank a bit as well... which of course makes it easier to get them to make bad decisions.

Anybody who needs to rely on alcohol or muscles to get girls to pay attention to them is lame.

I live on the east side so I never really get up there... though I was at Bamboo 52 recently for HH. The bartender hooks it up over there and drinks are cheap!

lol you want things really badly huh? But keep continuing with activities that hinder your progress. I noticed in another thread, and your sig about the M3.

I have the same mentality I suppose it's a rational/emotional issue. What I should be doing vs what feels good/easiest.

But if I really want something and I keep doing other things in place of it... my conscience gets to me after awhile, and I drop the hindrance.

Screw the calories and toxicity aspect, its about your lifestyle and self control. If you miss the friday afternoon workout, are you really going to lift that night? No, you're going to booze with your bros.

If you lack the discipline to stop drinking for a few months you'll never be as big or strong as you want to be.

lol typical ignorant comment. My friend tried using this on me. They are empty calories that go towards nothing

haha yeah. I decided not to get the m3 though lol. I'd rather not have to worry about the payment and be more flexible with other things.
