Pics of the double din setup
My lil setup so far:
Alpine 7" touchscreen Alpine vehicle hub pro Alpine FullSpeed Cable Alpine Ipod Video adapter Jensen 1/2 din dvd/vcd/cd player Richs double din bezel pac swi alp steering wheel controls pac tr7 video bypass Directed 1000w 4ch amp -Infinite Reference 6.25" woofers -Infinite Reference 1" tweeters Directed 2500w 2ch amp -2 Pioneer 10" subs Dislikes: -Ipod video adapter should work more like the fullspeed cable but does not. If you play music you donot see the song title etc. -Screen acts up in very hot weather. especially if sitting for a long time. -Have to buy seperate module for bluetooth to work better. -Dull alpine background Likes: -Fullspeed cable is the **** i love it. -Pimp factor/ looks stock -Video and sound is amazing -Possiblities for expansion is huge If anyone has any ? pm me Jon

How is the PAC adapter working for steering wheel control? Do you like it? Are you able to change tracks well? I'm going with a similar setup (Vhub Pro, TME-770S and the Full Speed Cable, PAC SWI-JACK).
And how about the iPod speed factor... is fullspeed really fullspeed? lol, looks very slick by the way, very excited to get mine done!

Did doing that affect the way the armrest opened/closed at all?

Hey man. I have a very similar setup and it is sweet, and I agree with your plus' and minus'. One thought though, I was having the same problem with the screen, you may want to ensure that you installed it all correctly.
here is the link. http://www.mybimmer.net/TME-M740BT_vhub_monitor.htm Once I followed these instructions I did not have the screen go off anymore. Looks goods

Where'd you get that holder for your phone? I need one for mine. Also, you mentioned bluetooth - could you stream music from a bluetooth device to the HU?

They do have hacks for the 6700 to give you Bluetooth Stereo, it can be flakey though. Some people had better luck then others with it. Any chance you still talk to the seller and could find out where he got it, or does anyone recognized which one it is? The pda mount that is... |

Audiovox is the middle man between HTC and Verizon... its funny though that with the 6800(Vzw's version of the mogul) comes with a case saying HTC.
I'll do some searching to find that clip! Again, nice setup! |

Hey good job man! I've been following this thread, as we were both having the same system (Vhub Pro) put in about the same time back in August. Here are some pics of my setup as well.
More pics at http://www.personal.psu.edu/crt129/blackbird.htm Also, I was wondering. Where did you end up mounting the GPS antenna? When I had the system put in, the installer kept telling me that "it MUST be placed outside, otherwise you won't get ANY reception". And he had it stupidly and really ugly like placed on the OUTSIDE of the car, near the A-pillar. I wasn't "buying" that, so I'm like: "I don't like that, can't you please put it on the inside of the car, like the dashboard?" Then they kept giving me crap about Alpine didn't have some mounting plate for it, and it needs to be grounded or it won't work. What a load of bull. So I made them do it, (much to their chagrin) and put in the dash, at the very corner near my inspection stickers. Sure enough, I usually have MAX satellite coverage from that spot. So jut wondering what you ended up doing.
