I need your opinion for E46 lighting

I just bought a 2001 330ci and I want to upgrade the headlights, and maybe the interior lights. For those of you who have done this, which brand did you choose, and how do you like them? are bimmian lights any good? Any feedback helps

edit: also how much did it cost you?

Dunno too much about the exterior - cause I dont know what you have.

The Bimmian XENON INTERRIOR light set from modbargains is fikin awesome, esp if you have a black interrior. I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner, absolutly love them.

If you are in canada (you dont want this duty crap!)

www.bimmian.com

If you are in the US:

www.modbargains.com

Both have the external lights you seek as well ......

OK let me give you my opinion... having done this on my own car, I know what to do and what not too. first of all you have to get High intensity discharge lights(Zenon, ect) .... I am sure this is what you mean when you say Upgrade.... So when I was looking for mine about 2 years ago, money was a big issue for me and I found that I could get an HID conversion kit for a couple hundred dollars.. If I were to do it again,... I wouldn't!! The conversion kits usually require that you "modify" the stock housings to hold a new HID bulb. This is what I ended up doing and here are the problems... first of all, because I had to bore out the housing to slide in the HID bulb, I no longer have correctly aligned bulbs, they point all crazy. Also there is a lot of unattractive wiring that goes on right behind the housing. So here is what I would have done. Go get one of the full housings that come with a Zenon projectors. I will probably end up doing that when these bulbs die..... Sorry for the long winded explanation, but I have been studying for an exam tomorrow and needed a break so I thought this would be nice for letting off steam...cheers

The Modbargain guys are great...I would go with these....http://www.modbargains.com/product.a...w-e46-light015.... and like I said money was somewhat of an issue and that is why I didnt do this in the first place(I am a college student) But I regret it now and wish I bought these..

But will I need to make a wiring harness or something?

If you are looking to upgrade your stock halogens to xenons, I highly recommend our Projector46 Headlight replacements. These are complete headlight assemblies that are projector based xenons with built in angel eyes just like the factory xenon option. They come with all the wiring necessary and preinstalled angel eyes for an easier install. They are also backed by our full lifetime warranty

We carry Bimmian Interior Xenon bulbs and have been extremely happy with the result. They are a nice upgrade for interior lights over the stock yellow bulbs:

Just click on Nick's link there are pics there - although I have yet to see a pic that does the light justice - I guees it is one of those things that is hard to capture in a picture.

Has anyone used Silver Star bulbs or GE NightHawks? My friend told me about those and it looks like they are just a cheap alternative...

i've used silver stars. they are just a little bit brighter than your stock halogens. if you want a big difference, go with HID.

I have Silver Stars in for my low beam / high beam - you do notice a difference when you are all alone on a dark road exactly where you need lighting - low beam (DRL) they look the same as stock.

I goota say I love a good highbeam!! I think of lighting from a drivers perspective rather than a pedestrian.

It would be nice to see a comparison of all the lights.

It would aslo be nice to fly or be invisible.

Seriously though I think some of the vendors have comparison chart like that.
