Promax Protein Bars

16th best seller on, as of july 07

A few times a week I pick one up to eat while running in between classes. It's cheap and available at school.. 280 calories, 5-6 g fat, 20 g protein, 23 g sugar, 37 g carb.

Whats the common consensus on this bar? Excess sugars or carbs?

I try to eat a small-ish, balanced meal every 3 hrs and this stuff keeps me satisfied for awhile.

But it taste so damn good hahah I feel kinda guilty when i eat the whole thing...

VPX Zero Impact Pumpkin bars. The only bar worth knowing about...

Everything else is either too much sugar (like the one the OP is eating), too much saturated fat, or too much sugar alcohols. ZeroImpact bars have 20g of fat from the good fats including CLA etc. not the trans or sat fat.

Why not make your own? I'm about to try it tomorrow.

Roughly the ingredients iirc are:
-whey powder
-natural pb
-flax seeds
