My Conversion is taking shape... facelift, oem m6 wheels, etc.
As some of you may know, my car got keyed a couple of weeks ago. I decided to turn a $hitty situation into a positive one.
Here is a list of the changes: -Full Facelift Conversion using new OEM parts -Slightly widened fenders to accomodate the new wheels -OEM M6 wheels -CSL Suede Steering wheel -Complete repspray using ti silver and a deeper nano technology clearcoat -Molded CSL Splitters -Black Diffuser things are starting to take shape... the wheels were testfitted with the new tires today... enjoy (the animation is with german text... so just ignore the written parts)

Nice!! What a great idea, turning something as horrible as a keying into a complete facelift upgrade!

new update...
before I go on with my car i'd like to show you something you dont see everyday. a piece of bmw history... the bmw M1. Not only is the car incredible by itself, but this particular example only has 45,000km's. The condition is immaculate, and the car has always been serviced by the bmw dealership. enjoy... ![]() ![]() ok... now on to my ride... I picked up the hood today, so all the new sheetmetal has arrived. The front fenders and all the moldings have been removed from the car. The scariest part of this update would have to be the rear fenders. The rear was cut up entirely and the fenders have been widened to accomadate the huge offset m6 wheels. They are now just as wide as the m3 fenders, and the guy that does the bodywork for me really is doing an impeccable job. I cant wait to see the final result, the car will be truly unique when all is said and done... ![]() ![]() ![]()

very nice, but I woulda went with an //M hood with the hood bulge. Also, make sure that that rear fender has clearance so it won't rub, from the pics it looks like you're gonna be close.
Other than that, awesome job and best of luck!

there will be no rubbing at all... this is why the rear fenders are being altered. Also, I thought about going with m fenders and hood... but after doing some thinking I decided that I didnt want a fake m3, and that the facelift makes the car look a lot more modern....
