thank you guys for the comments...

i went in again today and chatted with the guy that does my bodywork. He worked saturday and sunday! He said that he is actually having a lot of fun working on the car because he also cant wait to see what it'll look like when its done.

We started talking about paint. He already advised me not to paint my car in another color because it would be impossible to paint everything (things like under the hood etc.)

He did some research and thinks that a color called "silverstone metallic" would look good, and its very similiar to titanium silver, so everything under the hood could stay the same.

Does anyone have any pictures of this color? I would love to have something unique....

update time...

the rear fenders now have their final shape and width. The actually turned out to be almost 1" wider than the m3 fenders. Clearance is perfect for the m6 wheels and I am more than happy..

this pic shows how much wider the fender now is, the stock bumper below shows the original width...

heres the other side of the fender...

and a sideview...

and a pic of my car being worked on... this guy has 34 years worth of experience, and the work truly is top-notch...

more pics of the widened front fenders should be up friday... see you then

Update...

The metal work for the front fenders now is completed aswell. The fenders all turned out to be slightly wider than the original m3 fenders. Everything looks incredible and I am very happy with the work. All that is left now before paint is widening the front and rear bumpers and smoothing everything out.

I should have some pics of the bumper up by the beginning of next week.

here are the front fenders:

its def. not easy to see your own car cut up into pieces... but I trust the guy doing the work... so I am certain that it will come out looking great. This goes beyond just "messing with the fenders"... they are cut into two pieces, then another pice of sheetmetal is put between the to parts, and they weld everything back into one piece... its scary stuff guys....
