Angel Eyes Changing Radio Station

I installed bimmian xenons with angel eyes yesterday. Still need to get the car flashed by the stealer for xenons.

Since I hooked the angel eye trigger wire to the red white and yellow dotted wire in the ECU, occassionally my radio changes to a local R&B Hip Hop station and turns up the volume full blast!

Is there an alternate wire that I can hook up to trigger my angel eyes?

Unhook this immediately - you are tapped to a kbus line.

I would recommend staying away from the ECU and going into a +12V switched line, or better - the parking lamps instead, this wire is grey with a violet stripe on the LCM.

If my car changed the radio station to anything R & B ish...that would be the end of a beautiful friendship...

Rammstein.. FTW!

Angel Eyes take over Radio

I removed the trigger wire from the ECU and I still get the intermittant radio station changes. This car is a piece of work. All I can do is laugh at how sensitive our cars are to electrical changes.....

Talking Angel Eye Issue Resolved

The issue with the xenons and angel eyes was resolved by having the dealer code the car for xenons. The connection for the angel eye was correct, red and white wire with yellow dots per Umnitza support. The radio was changing because I have a traffic pro radio. It was reset when I disconnected the battery and searches for the closest radio station when traffic bulletins.

You don't wanna tap a k-bus line.

You might end up with your angel eyes setting your cruise control to 155 the moment you select CD 2 in your auto-changer and switch your angel eyes on....
