Only two angel eyes

Yesterday someone was saying that they had never heard of only installing two angel eyes on a bmw (as opposed to all four). I don't remember which thread that was in so I'll just post a picture here of what it looks like. I'll take a better picture when it gets dark out but you get the jist of it here. I think it looks nicer than all four. More like real eyes. Like it or don't, its what I did.

See? now you're being partway sane and reasonable. A reasonable question. And presented in a halfway reasonable fashion. What the forum is for. Don't go f*ckin' it all up with a statement like, "Like it or don't, its what I did"!!!

Chill out and use the forum for what it's intended purpose is for!

It's by all means doable.... actually easier, less work. You would just need to cap the remaining wires (that would go to the other eyes)....

personally I am not a huge fan of the look, but it not bad either...

I would say give it a shot. Plus by only doing 2 you would have 2 spare rings just incase 1 ever died...

you might find more help in the lighting forum

I expect people to come along and say they hate it, so I'm stating in advance that I don't care. Thats all. I got the idea from a picture here of an M3 (I think) that was yellow and just had the two eyes but they were bright blue. Looked way cooler but blue lights on the front of your car are illegal here.

I've had it set up like that for a couple weeks now and I like it a lot. Looks cool with the xenons on too. And yeah you're right about having extras in case one dies. I hear that happens a lot.

Also, I ordered some yellow fog light bulbs today. I hope they look okay.

I ordered 2500k fogs. Is there much of a difference from the 3000k?

I got these because they were cheap. It doesn't say what they are but maybe you can figure it out?

I am still confused. The one set of angel eyes. . .eh. I like all four and at least 4300k. CCFL for me. I am still not clear on your corners and side markers. What kind of bulbs do you have in those? How do you have your angel eyes wired?

I have these angel eyes

I have these side marker bulbs

I have these corner marker bulbs

and I just ordered these fog light bulbs.

Oh, and I have my angel eyes wired to the fan ECU wire so they are on whenever the car is on and they stay on for like ten seconds after I turn off the car.

The blue corner bulbs and side marker bulbs look cool even when they aren't on because you can see them through my clear lenses. Looks nice :]

Yeah, they look like the real thing. I did get them really cheap but it was very fortunate for me the way that happened. When I bid on them I only bid so much that I'd pay $30 with shipping and I didn't expect to win. There was a "buy it now" option that would make them about $60 with shipping and somebody else did indeed 'buy them now' but apparently never paid because a couple days later the seller sent me a 2nd chance offer for the price I bid. I was amazed at what a great deal it was and jumped right on it. They are very bright, very white and match the xenons very well. I'll try to remember to take some pictures at dusk because my camera doesn't work well when its too dark outside.

P.S. Considering that most people spend $75 to $140 for their eyes I would highly recommend buying a set like mine from the same seller for $60 because even that is a great deal.

Hot off the presses!

Just took some pics of my car. It was sunset when I took them but the pics look like it was pitch black outside. Stupid camera...

The first one is angel eyes only. The second one is angel eyes and corner markers, and the third one is angel eyes, corners, and low beam xenons.
