I would say aftermarket alarm offer a lot more feature and works a lot better. however, OEM alarm integrate with your key perfectly. I choose OEM alarm because I don't want to carry extra tag just for alarm and alarm sounds different (don't like the aftermarket one, they all sounds the same.)

beside, If someone steal my car, then I don't want it back... ( I will want them to total the whole car so I can ask insurance company for new one.)

well, just my $.02

I didn't want to get an after market alarm for a long time because of the remotes, but you can actuall buy after market remotes that are only .5 inch long by .5 inch wide. the features of the after market alarm out weighs the issue of the remote size.

does anyone have their alarm programmed so that when you arm the alarm, it automatically closes all your windows? I'm gonna go to the dealer and see if they can do that.
