Light output/quality difference between H7 and D2S?

hey all,

is there light output/quality difference between H7 HID vs D2S HID?

Let's assume same 55W 6000K.

If there is a difference I'd like to pick up OEM headlights instead of P46.

The output of the bulbs will be the same, it's the projector lens that makes the output difference and the cutoff. OEM lenses will almost always be better than aftermarket.

OEM headlights have a higher quality projector unit so the light dispersion and pattern is nicer. The problem with OEMs is that they are $1600 new and if you go used, you risk not knowing what happened with them. With P46's, you get preinstalled angel eyes and a warranty.
