I thought the logo was supposed to be the up side?
It hasn't made a difference for me lol...I actually think that flat-side-up is easier to put leverage on (making it easier to pull inadvertently)

I love the "ebay" ///M ones
If I had an M3, I'd get a whole bunch of ///M stuff around the car ///M that thing the fcuk out !

It's not a brushed aluminum, but aluminum for sure I love the feel of it. It looks clean imo, and I don't have any ACS stuff, so I just went with ///M logo for BMW Motorsport

the deal with the button is the mechanism that it unlocks is built into the knob itself. so when you install a manual knob, you have no button, but you also have no need for one.

edit: i have also had the hamann knob for a few years now and it looks great.

theres no problem with it. I know the feel of where everything is, and if youre unsure it tells you on the dash as for valet parking....I dont know why you would anyway I valet parked for a brief period of time and the way those kids treated the cars further proved my reasoning to be correct about those places

yea i figured anyone who responded was going to say NEVER VALET, but i live in miami and unfortunately, around here its quite common to be given no other option - which sucks. and on top of that, the valets almost never speak english.

hm great, thanks. every time i get an e90 loaner, i feel that the auto shift knob is smaller than the one in my e46... does it fit?

i've searched and found people saying the e90 shift knob will not fit, and some said it fits without problems... can anyone help? i am going to swap out my wood shift knob for a leather one soon...
