My Ride: 02 325ci
RI Autocross-ADSI HPDS

Haven't been too active on this lately, but I have been enjoying my e46 at autocross! A good friend of mine is an instructor at ADSI and convinced me to go. Ever since my first event I've been hooked! I can't think of a time I've had more fun in my car than at their events. When most people hear the term "autocross" they think of maybe 5 laps, being forced to work the course, and a max speed of about 20-30mph, being happy when you hit the top of 2nd gear, and getting kicked off the course if you get a little tail happy? Well at ADSI I usually get in about 30 laps on a busy day with a lot of cars (last event someone had a recorded 92 laps in his miata), don't have to work the course (I do anyways, just to help out), my measly 325ci gets up about 60mph, spend a good amount of time in 3rd gear, and slide all around the course!
The price is $125 for 5 hours of unlimited laps. If you'd like to do the morning session with 1 on 1 instructing, then that costs $250 for the full day, and you even get to skip the line for autocross. The next event is August 17th, and its based out of Quonset RI on the airfield. I'll be there hopefully in my e46, if not ill be there in another car. Because a picture is worth a thousand words, attached are a few pics taken of me having fun on the course!
