I'm hesitant to do this mod for fear of bending the moldings. Anyone encounter this problem?

Started my vinyl wrap journey. Front is done. I got the punched roll and there's plenty of wrap even with the punches. I just tucked the punched side anyways.

Bump for awesome thread.
Finished this project in a day. If u are careful you wont break any clips but will definitely need to replace a few grommets. Will post pics of the final product when possible. |

Any left?
Hi Guy's,
This thread maybe a little old but I'm trying to get some of this stuff sent over to the UK (Titanium Silver). The suppliers are so far not responding to e-mails? Does anyone have any ideas of other places to purchase or have a s**tload left they are willing to ship to the UK? Cheers |

No pictures as it's still raining and I'm on the road early tomorrow but..............
, I no longer have black trim! It took about a day in all to do the doors and rear/front bumpers. Biggest PITA was the number/license plate holder, too many corners but with persuation it moulded to my way of thinking. An amazing difference with loads left over to touch up as and when required |

Sorry guys, I know this is an old thread, but for those of us still doing this project, wanted to give out some info for ordering locally in LA, CA
3M ScotchCAL ElectroCut Satin Aluminum 7125-120 (15"x10 yards) for about $59 including taxes, they don't charge shipping if you pick it up. FELLERS, Inc. (800) 654-8405 9830 Norwalk Blvd, #110 Sante Fe Springs CA 90670 Beacongraphics charges (15"x10 yards)...$48.40 but this doesn't include taxes or shipping, and i found their costumer service unfriendly. Also, I have extra wrap to sell if anyone is interested (7125-120) Thefys, thanks for the pics, great job |

Update, March 2012
The tape has not changed colour or lost it's shine. It's incredibly durable except where other drivers have continuously bumped into me... One day I will redo the scratched bits.....

I painted mine with two cans of color match auto paint with clear coat built into it from a local automotive paint shop, it was $20 a can and i only needed two and it matched perfectly, has been on there for at least a year and holding up well, really durable finish and i have some left over just incase. all i did was clean the trim really well and went over it with paint thinner to get any grease or road tar off, painted the side moldings on the car and removed the front and rear trims since the clips dont break as easily 40 bucks, a roll of painters tape and some news paper and was done in a couple hours.
