Not to rain on your rant but while the 'ZHP' options are available I don't believe the enigne mods are available on tourings anywhere. Could be wrong though.

This has been going on for decades. My 325e was a 2.7 L engine.

ZHP is US specific. Those cars with mtech packages are denoted as M Sport models I believe. Motor/drivetrain ZHP bits are not included.

Pouring rain on your rant

Move to the next thread please.

BTW, all e90's are 3.0's, so all 325, 328 and 335's have "fake" badging per your thought process.

Sorry for the rant, its just the same old argument, similar to putting an ///M badge on the back of your non ///M3. Notice the first one didn't have a 3 after the ///M. Sure, cars in other countries come with such badging stock, but put it on an american car and all of a sudden your a "*****." My ZHP has 6 ///M badges clearly displayed stock, but if I put one on the trunk I'm a "*****."

Excellent thought process...

/rant

EDIT, lol, why does r!cer go to *'s?

First of all stop throwing around the word noob. You've been clowned already in previous threads, I thought you learned your lesson. 2nd, there is no ZHP outside North America. And 3rd your e90 argument is null and void, do you really expect anyone to answer that.

Anyways I was just asking Stuart a simple question, you notice how everyone flipped out and he didn't. Its because he understands this place, I think he accepts the fact that some people will say something about the badge. Anyways from now on, do more reading and less talking NOOB.

Anyways lets get back on topic. This is a public forum, I said what I had to say...lets move on.

He was referring to the e9x's only.

As for whether this car is a 330 or not, yes it is. Has everything that a 330 has. On the paper, it's not, but who gives a sh1t? It is a 330...

wow - so much love while I was out working in the yard and doing errands (IN MY 330 WAGON)

I tend to agree, I tried the badge thing and thought it crowded...time to debadge some (or completely)

I know but it looks like a sedan from the front. Its just some more eye candy of the black sedan thread.
There isnt a single ///M badge on this car (except the one on the steering sheel trim) unlike the various added to the ZHP from the factory or the ones added to other BMW models (sport or not).

Love the trailer
I stripped the paint (well, most, where there was rust or white stripes) and repainted the trailer, added the aluminum diamond plate, new wheels and tires, new lights, new wiring, new tag holder, new trailer jack, new safety chain....and so on, and so on.

excellent points, indeed you are correct, ZHP = US, but I'm pretty sure the ZHP equivalent package has the engine upgrades on the touring...

You must have me mixed up with someone else, I'm not on e46 too much, so please, by all means, link me a thread where I'm "clowned."

ZHP's do exist outside of the US, they are just called something different, thats like saying a US Acura Integra is not the same as a *** Honda Integra, lol.

e90 "argument" is an example of what BMW has been doing for YEARS, meaning the badging on the back of the car doesn't always tell you what is under the hood, there are always exceptions to the rule.

As did I, hey, I thought this thread needed more spice in it since Stu is pretty much done with the project. He can thank me later, ha ha...

well, i pondered what to do with the spare motor the past few days and almost ordered another TS3 kit from ESS...but then sat back and looked at having to source a 3.0L crank, rods...and the costs associated with making the motor 3.0 and the head/valve work....

Nah, but I did hear from ESS - they are working on the programming for the TS3 on the sedan

If you're referring to the M Sport II in Europe or somewhere else, no ZHP != M Sport II. The latter has "some" of the ZHP options but lacking many. ZHP is US spec.

Stuart and other Touring fans.

I just bought a new Mtech II front bumper (replica) for my Touring from ASPTuning (same as DDM tuning and from other vendors). This is the model for a facelifted Sedan, with rubber trim parts, front license holder, fogs and mesh grill.

Doing some research, it appears I need to order brake ducts and Brackets for my 2003 Touring? Before I go ahead and get it painted and installed I need to know if I am missing parts: Here are the parts I got from another thread on this site, are these correct for my Touring?
"brackets are 51-11-8-195-295 left
-296 right
ducts are 51-71-7-894-699 left
-700 right"
Here is the link that mentioned these.
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showpo...708&postcount=6

On another thread it stated I needed pre-facelifted brackets to match the bumper... very confusing. If anyone has the right parts I am willing to place an order now.
TIA!

if your car is facelift and the replica bumper uses the same bumper supports than you should be fine....but I have not used a rep bumper, so i dont no the specifics

you will need to install the airducts before you install the new bumper cover

you can verify all parts and part numbers on the realoem.com website
