She's Done - Full custom install *no 56k*

I thought I would post the final shots of my custom install. This is my latest and last I hope.

What was done: custom painted trim, two toned parts of the interior, VHub, M740BT, New Amps, Focal, Custom Trunk and lighting, custom ported enclosure that ports into the cabin, single JL 8W6, stealth radar install, and lot's of love tuning the Biotch.

The Focal's took some taming,ut man do they sound FVCKing Sweet!!!! Not harsh or too bright. The only step remaining is and AudioControl DSP EQ which I anticipate being complete before the holidays.

Take a look and let me know what you think. Thank you Rich for a great bezel - and feel free to use all the shots.

did you do this yourself? It looks nice, and expensive if you paid someone to do it. What made you want to go with an 8 inch w7? If i spent all that money on an install or all my time doing it myself I would want to put more than a single 8, maybe a 10 at least, but otherwise it looks clean.

I was going for total sound quality and believe it or not, the way the box is made - she rocks and sound so very clear. Literally, you can hear the metallic sound of the kick drum (great mids & Higs) then feel it pound. Love it. BTW I had a 10W - too sloppy for me.

Lastly, paid for the install.

It was a 10W3 and you are right she was all over the place. Gave it to my nephew who does not have any ears yet.

Looks good and I bet it sounds great. One question - if you did pay for the install why the wrinkles/creases on the vinyl? I'd have them fix that.

Otherwise -- looks good.

Yeah, I did pay and I agree with you on the wrinkles in the vinyl but it is not easy to get vinyl to take every contour. The side panels need to be reworked the back and bottom are good. I have one more piece going in the trunk, and AudioControl EQ/DSP and will have the sides reworked then.

Sound Advice in Fort Myers did the install and trunk work, but for final tuning, AudioControl EQ, and to rework trunk pieces it will go to Carisma Audio in Tampa.

Paint work was done by Kramer Coachwork in Naples.

Now as soon as the stereo work gets completed I can drop it and install the new OZ's sitting in my garage.

YEAH that was how looked before. I guess it looked good but the sound was not where it needed to be.
