Quick question - just installed the camber arms. Now I'm trying to fit the diff back into place and the passenger side fastener/bolt is not going in smoothly. It's taking more force than I'm comfortable with. Any ideas?

I just did this in about 3 hours on my 325xi.. tip for y'all:
-loosen the front diff bolts, don't remove them -remove rear diff bolt -pry diff to the pass side -jack diff up about 3/4" profit

Yup...you just need to create a tiny bit of room to get the bolt in and out.

looks like a hella bump.
Anyone have success on the shortened bolt method? I was thinking about dremmeling off the existing bolt, then purchasing a new bolt, dremmeling off the end about 5mm and the head that the socket locks onto as well about 3 mm. Anyong think that would work? Im trying to avoid dropping the diff and such.. |
