So, I just drove from Mpls to Milwaukee

I cruised at about 72-74 the whole time, no stops, and I got here on exactly one half tank. It was over 300 miles... That means I got about 38mpg!!!

Just thought I'd share the love of my car. I'm gonna go out driving again!

yeah i'd say it was a good 10mph tail wind from woodbury to eau claire

and i'm here with my girlfriend, on a nice weekend getaway. she goes to college in chicago so i figured why not have her take the megabus up here and experience an unfamiliar city together! milwaukee has cleaned up a lot since i was here a few years ago, i don't remember it being anything special, but it's pretty nice, especially around my hotel.

Nice one, Alec. I nailed 33.2mpg from St. Paul to Cincinnati last year, and I was happy!

Don't f*ck with the power of the 328i!!

haha well this isn't really a 'fanatics' outing... more of a romantic weekend.

I'm about 10mi south of downtown in New Berlin, staying in the La Quinta right off 43.

It was a BIATCH driving around today... WI snow plows aren't even close to the efficiency and speed of the mpls area. The highways still aren't plowed and it's been snowing here since mid morning.

This is weird... I drove from NYC to Mansfield CT in my dad's 325i with him and I barely got 28mpg.... and he's now complaining about the mileage of his car compared to my car (his old 98 Accord EX 4cyl).
