HELP!!! (Concerning UUC Swaybars)

I'm getting some MAJOR squeaking from the font (some from the rear) after i installed the UUCs...
WHY???
any solutions???

You need to put on (more?) grease. Be liberal about it too.

kind of a clunking noise huh? others have had something similar, but be as descriptive as you can about your specific problem to get better answers.

You need to make sure your sway bar bushings are properly lubed.

Definitely sounds like you need to grease the bushings. I've greased mine once after installing them the first time. I liberally applied a heavier weight (wheel bearing) grease after lithium grease which I used initially.

greasing the bars is only temporary, you'll be doing it every year...wrap the bar(s) with plumbing tape (just where the bushings are) and you'll never have to do it again. Trust me, it works.

Thank god there's a solution! was worried that it was symptomatic of having harder bushings...
will grease them up real good... and also try the plumbing tape.

Are you talking about the white kevlar type plumbers tape that you use to keep a shower head from leaking out the sides?

make sure all the bushings are properly lubed. (USE A LOT!!!) plus, make sure all the connecting bolts are tight, especially the rear end links they have to be adjusted when the car is on the ground. Make sure they are tight and they are adjusted equal length to prevent premature breakage.
