325xi in it's final form

After about 4 months of indecision, I finally found a nice set of light weight 18s to replace the M6 replicas and complete the xi. These are LTW EmPower 18x8.5s and each weigh in at just over 19lb, 41lb with General Exclaim UHPs.
Threw in a few shots of the interior as well even though it hasn't really changed since Spring this year.

Nothing really flashy though...

i love those wheels..im looking into getting them myself

hows the improvement in handling/performance?? you must have lost close to 10 lbs of unsprung weight at each corner if you came from m6 reps (depending on size)

Hey Thanks! The xi is done for sure, haven't decided on how far I want to mod the ZHP though. I'll do wheels for sure next year, but exterior wise, I'm already pretty happy.

I think the M6 reps a bit more too, but good god the gas mileage on those were unbearable. I averaged about 16mpg on 50/50 city/hw driving, and that's with a really light foot. I got about 20.5 on the 16s and am expecting similar mileage on these new wheels.

Yeah, changing from 19" M6 reps dropped about 10lb in unsprung weight. 19x8.5 Miro M6 reps and Kumho 235/35 SPTs were about 51lb. Acceleration for sure is superior to the heavy ass 19s. Handling wise, I can't really say just yet, but it's definitely better than the stock 16x7s.
Braking feels similar to the 16s as well. On 19s I really had to apply additional pressure to slow.

Yeah, my first thought when I saw your interior was that we are going to be twins
I think you said you're getting black CF trim and suede headliner/boots? I have not doubt those will come out looking great.

xi's looking great man, wheels aren't really my taste, but they're not too bad.

Sad to see the modding's done on the xi though lol
