After 8k miles, my 325 is picking up the pace!

Wow I can't believe my little 180hp 325 really seems to be performing even better after 8k miles on it. Should i expect any more improvements? Just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who provides feedback on this board, i'm so glad i picked up this car instead of the A4. It rocks. Soon the modding will begin..

I just downloaded a video last night at home on a e34 (is that an oldschool m5) or something like that beating around 911's on a track. Now is this possible or did those 911's just suck.

Why is that when I see those euro touring races I always see BMW never finish first, almost last with the bunch of them.

Nice, i'm actually starting to notice my car really starting to open up as well. My cousin told me the same thing when i first got the car, but didn't have a clue what he was talking about. then the throttle starting feeling more responsive, car just felt stronger and the exhaust note began changing and the car started sounding more aggressive and deeper. i read somewhere that 10k-20k is when majority of BMW's open up. enjoy

beat a 911 turbo with a m3? well, you could get some cams, exhaust, strip the car, and o yeah, the easiest and most profitable mod...deflate the tires on the porsche because if you dont, i hope you like what the turbo smells like...

hhahah..hmm..my 01 3.25ci is turning into a junk car after 14kmiles. Sumthin near the rear suspension keeps rattling, passenger side door wont even open (only from the inside), passenger side window rattles, car's reaction has reallllyyyy slowed down, and my headlights keep pointing upwards so i have to go (again) to set it at a normal height. Im takin the car to the dealership soon to get all this checked out, but like always, i doubt theyll perminently fix the problems. I keep the car garaged, never messed around with it, took care of it with all my heart. Maybe the car just hates me...

Yes...Bimmers mature like fine wine..My car keeps getting better and more physically beautiful as time goes on (as I add things to it). At 13K it drives better than it did at 2K. I always have to pull back on the reins. This car wants to go.
Don't street race--that's for babies..you are mature men and women who enjoy the cache' of things beautiful..let others stare as you rumble by..

very true, they do mature like fine wine. i don't mean my car suddenly turned into an animal, but it is noticeably more aggressive then when i first got. i drive my maxima majority of the time and when i use the bimmer, i always drive it hard. it feels as though the car is really responding and adjusting to my driving style. still would like better throttle response in the mid range, but it's alittle better and i'm sure a few performance mods will help out.
