Because your halogen housing reflects the light inaccurately and will blind incoming traffic. The Projectors , the "bowl-esque" round thing seen in the projector46 will properly distribute the xenon lights accordingly

Additionally and most importantly, we are the direct assembler of these lights.

+1 for umnitza, Bought my whole lighting package from them; Xenons, clears, and LED tails. Btw, looking good......

Projectors focus light onto the road, as halogen assemblies reflect the light onto the road. The xenon bulbs put out so much more light than halogens, that the OEM halogen housing can't reflect the light properly onto the road, leaving in scattered light.

In order to get the look and output you want, the best way to do it is to get a projector system - we recommend our Projector46s because they have been the simplest, easiest to install, and most complete package for the money.

With a lot of options for color, output, and even additional parts.

Give us a call if you want more detail or email us - info@umnitza.com

Why not try DEPO's if P46's are expensive??

Are DEPO's any good? I know their lower quality but... you can always retrofit in Acura TL's projectors to make it THE BEST!

let it be known that i have been talking about p46 the whole time. i got confused with the comments about putting them into halogen housings, but as i understand it now, you were talking about just swapping out my halogen bulb for an HID bulb - not recommended. the p46 kit is a complete conversion to HID projectors and therefore is a high quality and high-impact upgrade for me which sounds great. if anyone knows any reason why i should not perform this mod, let him speak now or patiently wait for pics.

they're the same thing, but unless you can find a vendor that sells the Depo projectors with warranty and good customer service, you should probably get the p46 from our sponsors

Sigh... I'm stuck between the decision of

To mod or not to mod?

I would like to save my money, and invest it, and buy a new M3 Coupr or Sedan with it... or either mod the crap out of my existing BMW 320i... which won't be nearly as close as the new M3. But still... I WANT TO MOD SO BAD!!!

well, in a manner of speaking, the ultimate mod would be turning your 320i into an M3 - so save the money for now...then you can pimp out the M3!

Does this mean I can easily convert Halogen Projectors on a 2004 Facelift Coupe to HIDs/Xenons easily then..
