Led taillighs (eagle eye) would this bother anyone? - Page 2

we simply tell them to mount them between inner trim panels and the body of the car. they never move from there.

Jason, the 99-01 are back ordered mid Jan or late Jan.
We do have 99-01 DEPO in stock with LED trunk lights if you are interested.

Been looking for the right ones for a while. Did anyone install these on there own? Is it hard? What does it require? I would really like to get these on.

yes installation is very easy, just take trunk panels off, pull carpet back, unplug lights, unbolt 3 bolts, take out old lights, connect resistors and mount them and place new tails in and plug them up and reverse process. and you can always ask questions on here for us to answer.

They actually look really good in person (at least I think mine do). Do yourself a favor and buy a set of load equalizers (like what JLevi sells with the LED corner bulbs). That way you can remove the trunk lights without a bulb out warning and have only led in the rear like me

PS You can go one step past that and put led reverse lights in (its like rear headlights...plus ladies love it...im assuming)

The missing led sucks not to mention the missing outer column of leds. They definately could have found an alternative to that location for the mount. The mounting mechanism as it is interferes with the PCB as well. Altogether, a crappy design, but one us sedan owners have to live with to get led tails.

Its possible to retrofit the one missing led with a bit of work although finding the right led takes a bit of looking around.

No, only the converted Eagle Eyes from Europe that we convert to US lights will do it.

If you want those, they are $275 but the wait on them is 3 weeks.

I don't really see it as a problem......

I got mine, and I don't mine about the outer not lightin up with brakes...............

i have the eagle eyes and the missing LED isnt really that noticeable unless your turn signal is on obviously.
