yeah they're 20s. im gonna be honest, it rides good, but living in new york you gotta know how to dodge them potholes. theres a price to pay to look good, but im very happy with them. by the way, yours is looking sweet as hell, very clean look, i like!

Sorry stuart but I dont know how har it is to remove, had mine removed by the BMW dealer. gives the car a lower and wider app IMO.

Roof rail delete was a piece of cake. The parts come in a black primer looking color, not sure if you are supposed to paint or simply install as delivered. I prefer the body color look because it attracts less attention to the roof.

FYI - even after installing the roof delete rails you still have access to threaded fasteners as the new molding comes with a pair of flip doors similar to the sedan.

I highly recommend this mod. The lines of the touring look much improved IMHO without the bulging rails.

It looks like the parts to do this are less than $300 - can you tell me from the following link what I need?

Touring roof rack trim

Ok question for all the touring folks - should I add to the My Touring Build thread for the M54B30 6spd SCd swap? Or create a new thread?

I'd do a new thread. But that's only so I have more than one thread to read.

I purchased my trim pieces from a local BMW dealer. The P/Ns for my 2002 325it are listed below and cost approximately $116/each:

51 13 8 208 775
51 13 8 208 776

FYI - not sure if these are still available but you might catch a break if they have not sold yet.
