It would have been nice to be in, but oh well, no big deal. Someone created 20 fake accounts and bumped me out of the top 13. If those votes would have been voided, I think i would have been in. Maybe next year. Congrats again!!!!

can you tell me what you did as far as bodywork? I would imagine oem m3 frotn fenders need to be altered to fit the wagon, did you just graft on the rear e46m3 flares? did you have to do anything to the m3 sideskirts? Are you running fenderliners? thanks!

Fenders fit when aligned with the hood, sideskirts bolt on when using the M3 clips, quarter panel arches welded on and smoothed with the door curve, fender liners i'll let him answer. Also need to cut and modify the rear bumper to fit the hatch and M3 spare tire well tray if you want to use the center exit exhaust.

I have an 2000 323itouring, so a stock m3 hood will fit too without changing the headlights? I thought the headlights/corners were slightly different and prevented the hood and front fenders from being a bolt-on swap. Thanks for the help!

Trying to figure out how to upload pics from phone so I cam reply and show the differences. On bimmer app, it says feature blocked by moderators??

M3jon, m3 hood is longer and either narrower or wider (can't remember) than your touring hood. The headlight lenses on the m make up the difference in length, but fenders will still be short, and corners won't fit. Using m fenders is the only solution that I can imagine....but there aid a lot of cutting, welding and sectioning to make them fit. The rear quarter panels almost completely removed and replaced with m, not simply flares.

Until I figure out how to post pics from phone, email pic requests loren@metalmassager.com and if anyone can school me on pic upload from phone, pls do

about the engine tuning, how is the steptronic holding it? I want to go with it too, and with very similar numbers to yours.. I am just afraid if the steptronic will last with that..

Thanks. I don't have any problems with the steptronic since 30.000km. I was talking to a lot of BMW tuners in Germany and also in Luxembourg and they told me, the transmission will be stable up to 280hp and torque 580NM. DS Motosport already modified a lot of 330D engines to 260hp and they never had problems. I also removed the swirl flaps for 10000km because I heard about a lot of broken engines, so I can relax now I am really suprised about the engine power. I played with a friends car (Passat R36 with DSG transmission). I had 10x19 BBS CH on it (I know, they were to large , so I sold them..) and I was really surprised on the highway. See video:



Now I'm planning few changes. I will install the CSL carbon flaps and the carbon trims inside of the car.

I have also deleted the swirl flaps :-) its a must in this engine.. I would love to have the carbon interior trims, but too expensive for me right now :-(
and 19x10 isnt too big :-D but LMs are def. better

the rims were 10x19 ET20 from BMW Z4 M I prefer the LM. yes I want to buy the carbon trims too. they are really expensive... 355€!

I don't know what the tuners gonna do to get 280hp.. they will replace the intercooler with a bigger one? turbocharger to? I think you should install the injectors from the 335D, right? it's a risk for my steptronic. I want to install the shift paddles but it's very expensive I have to change the steering wheel (CSL = 700€ without airbag!) see picture! that's P0RN0 !

355€? for whole set? because here is full set (doors and dashboard trims + gear stick surround) about 600€ :-(

I dont know too :-D I will go for the larger intercooler though.. but turbo is not necessary to change..and injectors also..I know a guy who went to these numbers only with chip.. so it is possible :-)

shift paddles? I dont know :-) the steering is looking awesome, but the steptronic is too slow to make it worthy I think :-) you should try SMG swap :-D

I know... the steptronic is not the fastest transmission. Is that swap of gearbox really possible? or are there a lot of modification to do? I guess it's not plug n play or is it?

last month I sold my original 16/9 navigation system for 500 euro; on ebay! I bought the dynavin doppel din radio. it's really awesome. Now I can listen all my mp3 !!! I had still a tape player in my car. what is tape? we are 2012, I don't remember how they looked like

I dont know if it is possible, thats why I told you, to find out and make it work :-D :-D I just thought it would be better than steptronic..

yeeees, I have too the 16:9 with cassette player :-D its really bad, I dont understand why 2004 car has that cassette player :-( I would love to buy dynavin too.. thats great radio from what I've heard..
