White powdercoated 18" CSL's ready to replace the white plastidip CSL's. I liked the colour but plastidip seems like brake dust magnets and you cannot Karcher clean them properly in fear of blowing a piece out of it. All my previous white wheels have been powdercoated so got this brand new set done. Just need rear tyres which cost more than the wheels! Anyway, pics.

Not an E46

...but an E61. Here are some pics of my wagon.

She is a 535xi and has many mods: full OEM front end conversion, KWs, M5 brakes, custom exhaust, and the engine is FBO.

It can collect groceries, carry mountain bikes, and go 0-60 in 3.8 seconds.

I hope you enjoy.

Evan

Oh god that's sexy. 535 wagons are very rare in the States in my experience. Good work!

Nice 5er

535 arent that rare actually... in 3er's we only get the smaller 6 engines (pre F series) but the 5er's in e61 form got the 3.0 natural and the 3.0 turbo engines plus a few rare V8's. Wagons are still rare in any form over here though...

~2,000 535xi Tourings were imported per year (2008,2009,2010) which, if correct, does make them pretty rare. Ironically, I have seen quiet a few and sometimes 2 or 3 in one day, most of my time is spent in Orange County and the Bay Area.

I have not been able to confirm the statistics but that is what I have heard. I was frantically looking for a 6spd when I bought my car, they exist as 30% of the people who ordered E61s opted to keep the stock manual transmission but man was it slim pickings.

Wagons are rare as a % of the cars, but I just meant that for 5er's in the years you noted the wagon was only sold in 535. We were looking at 535 wagons for my dad but were scared away by long term ownership of a twin turbo engine, he ended up with a 2011 e91 328 6-sp RWD.

^^Me too!! When I first heard there was touring for sale that matched what I was looking for, I was told it was red...I found out later it was black. I still bought it but really wanted red. I've grown to love black but have become OCD about keeping it clean...I think I need medication.
