Very Nice! I never thought much of m6 wheels...but they look great on your car! Are those 18s?

Actually they are 17". I'm thinking of trading them for 18" but only after a remap.

How much should I go with for sure my rears? I was thinking 15 or 20mm....I am interested in making my rears flush, and not protruding at all

Anyone want to see some pictures of the Wifes touring haveing the trim painted gloss black like a ZHP? I am literally in the process of doing it now... Listneing to the etching primer dry

I just did the wifes 325it trim to gloss black looks like ZHP trim. I taped and sprayed it on did not pull the trim off. I tested a piece last night and decided there was no way to get it back on without messing up the fresh paint.. SO about 3 hours later its got black trim...

I used a self etching primer and Gloss Black Engine enamel.. it was the best match for the gloss on the ZHP trim. Turned out nice! Time for some M tech parts for the body. I just attached some finished pictures I'm sure you know what a taped up car looks like

pics look good, nice bike you lucky guy (i gave mine up years ago - I will get another some day...although by then I probably wont want a sport bike)

ITS not a sport bike Its a Honda VFR800/abs.. Looks like one but rides more upright. SUPER SUPER nice bike! I love it..

No my white M3 (non sunroof 1 of about 100) was outside, she stays inside most of the time. I had the propane heater blasting and crap all over the other side while I worked on the touring. My shop is full of projects so I had to do the black out inthe garage..

Got a baller 330i sedan project under way for a customer..

The black turned out great much better than the pictures..My photo skills are lacking.. Its shiny and has the same depth as the ZHP trim. Engine enamel is also some tough paint! Harder to spray because it comes out like afire hose though !!!

Has any wagon guys here swapped your diff? I've got 3.46 (we all do right?) and I am tired of turning 3900 rpms going 80 mph.

Thinking of switching to a 2.93 or 3.07. They are common, and I'd be able to sell my 3.46 because they are sought after. I just wonder how around town driving would be...

Thoughts?

I know VFR's. I had a 1986 VFR750F (white with blue) and a 1991 VFR (all red w/white wheels and single sided swing arm) and I do know it is considered a sport tourer

the only input I can give i can offer is that my zhp came with 3.07 (with 3.0 and 6spd) and when I switched to 3.46lsd the rpms on the highway went about about 250rpm on the highway at 80mph and it felt much stronger around town

i know that doesnt help - but you asked for any input

No that does help a little. I am looking to go down about 500 rpms @ 80 mph. I do 40% around town, 60% highway. I also drive out to DC and the East Coast about 3-4 times a year, and It'd be nice to actually get 30 MPG.

I am planning on getting headers, and an ECU tune, so hopefully that extra power will help around down with a 3.07 or 2.93.

Thanks for kind worlds.Its 320d a bit modified 2.0diesel.Im planing on putting a lip spoiler on a front bumper,but still cant decide to go for cup corners or something else.

I am new to the Touring club with a recently purchased 02 325xi. I need to do suspension soon and have been trying to pick the best option and have looked at many pics in the touring threads. I have decided that I like the look of the stock suspension 325iT's (non xi). The xi's look like 4x4 trucks, but the i models sit just about right for what I need. Will I just need to find some stock i model springs?
