nice addition - what does the side decal say and I agree that it looks better without

Who made the gauge/vent piece and can I get one?

Will I just need to find some stock i model springs?
How much is your price point? are you looking for just looks or also performance? There are the normal springs and the sport springs. Either way, you'd probably want to do more than that, as springs will wear out quickly if nothing else is done.

Price point is not a huge deal, I was figuring $300 or so for springs and I have Koni's already priced out for a good deal. Definitely not doing a coilover suspension on this vehicle if that is what you are thinking. Also not looking for performance, more of a lower look with a good smooth ride. I have a Forester that is slammed on STI suspension and don't need another rough riding car. I would say comfort is #1 on the list.

I would like to lower it further and it does need a polish pretty badly.
Also I need to tint the windows...
Beauty!! I've got exactly the same one, just smaller engine. Love the car.

95 Variants (Wagons) in North America with the 6-spd...very rare

Even though mines Tip, I love the thing so much (Magnaflows make it sound like a Vette). They are very expensive to work on, thats why theres a saying on the Passat forums about only owning one if you have an extended warrenty, like I do. You have a good chance of the Torque Converter going before 100K. I had mine replaced, though it wasnt causing an issue, and VW payed for it under their warrenty. Had an AC Compresser issue, but other than that, nothing but fun!

sweeet! Love the Euro Stormtrooper plate and the sticker in the rear window....very sexy wagon!

Have you thought about de-badging at all? I know its a very personal choice, but I think your car would look so much cleaner!!

Edit: Also blacking out the lower window trim and doing a vinyl roof wrap would be incredible!!

Thanks guys!

Ive thought about debadging a lot, knowing it could look so much cleaner, but I dig the badges, and you dont see many W8s as it is

I plan to paint the chrome headlight housings black, possibly wrapings the window trim, but I like the white roof

Question about Cargo Area

Hoping one of you can help me out

I want to remove the welded-in bracket located under the cargo load floor just forward of the spare tire and offset to the passenger side of the car....see photos. I can't see how it could be structural in any way, and other than providing support for loads placed on the carpeted panel, I can't figure out what purpose the thing serves.

For those not familiar, it's shown circled in red in the attached photos. It sits under the carpeted panel located immediately behind the rear seat-back.

The only use I can see is for support of any load on the carpeted panel, but the bracket has several holes/openings and a threaded nut welded on so I'm not sure.

Anyone??
