So even though i am not running cats, I will still have to extens the O2 harness. Will this step be eliminated if i do the simulators.

Bump! I'm really interested in doing this, but afraid that the BMW Stealership might notice it and get rid of my warranty. How many people here got the Check Engine Light?

I just got the EML light and was told by Bimmerworld with the shark injector installed it will turn it off and shouldnt have a SES light on at all. After installing the shark i had no lights on. If your under warranty id stay away from headers or tune you just never know what your dealer will say few might be ok with it and most might not.

thanks man, guess i should go for both the shark injector and the headers after my warranty.

the thing i dont know about this 'bmw community' is the amount of price difference for the same/similiar merchandise. I mean suppose "x" sells something for $300 + $25 shipping (that you dont find out about til you go to checkout) then "y" sells it for $225 + $75 shipping. you can also go for "z" on ebay for like 80% off.

i also got chewed out by someone here long time ago because i was complaining about some of the prices that the sponsor sells the merchandise for and he's lecturing me about how i should buy from them just because they are the sponsor. gtfo.

No prob, the shark injector is not known to give you the best power gains but in my case i pulled pretty good dyno numbers regardless and it did the job. Before buying it many people told me you wont feel any power gains with the shark injector, i already new you wont feel any power gains or hardly feel any with 8-10 rwhp if you even get that, just didnt think it was worth paying almost double for a few more. The key is you have to combine many aftermarket parts that work well together that eventually add up to decent power gains. Definitly wait after your warranty not really worth the headaches at the dealer, drive the car learn it more get use to its power, if you already havent and then mod it. Its plenty fast stock and extremely fun GL
