Project E46 recon

I bought a 2003 325i with the premium package with 84k on the clock. Its steel blue with the sport rims (type 68) I got it dirt cheap with plans to do a full recon and a few mods here and there. I will post pics as I get things done. Here is what being done as far as recon:

1. repair leather interior
A) Restich top section of rear seat
B) Redye some areas of the seats and door panels

2. Recon interior pieces
A) Clean all interior with degreaser and old scotchbrite
B) clean carpets
C) treat all interior with conditioner
D) redye any interior pieces that need it

3. Exterior
A) Claybar
B) full wax
C) Wet sand and buff
D) refinsh extremely bad headlights. I mean solid yellow
E) Remove any door dings

4 Paintwork
A) Bodywork left fender & repaint
B) Repaint hood, front bumper. due to bad color match by previous painter
C) repaint wheels factory color
D) Repaint all interior wood trim body color
E) paint kidney grilles body color
F) paint all back rubber trim body color

5 Matience
A) seafoam
B) Spark plugs
C) Oil/Filter
D) CAB
E) New tires

6 MODs
A) some sort of inexpensive drop
B) Hids
C) Projector housing
D) angel eyes
E) magnaflow muffler
F) CAI
G) Clear corners/sidemarkers

Here is what has been done as of today

All four rims painted with new tires. All the wood grain is now body color interior has been clean just waiting for the dyeing. headlights have been repaired. kidney grills are done along with seafoam, oil, and plugs.

I dont have any before pics for these but I will have some for everything else

headlights

Kidney grilles. they look like the color is off thats beacuse my color is correct and the hood is off. (see above post)

interior trim I will have better pics tommrow

Custom CAI

The cai uses the stock box and running a alum piping that conects to the sceond rubber piping. so basicly I got rid of the crappy rubber pipe with the flex section that kills any kind of extra power. (isnt much but hey I will take what I can get.) It still uses the orignal ducting from the head light and from the fan to fee it the cold air.

Let me know what you guys think

Nice, go two tone interior. It would be beautiful with that trim.
