It's an N/A V12 that does a mid to high 5 second 0-60. Just because it had a huge motor and 2 turbos doesn't mean it would rock him. All about power to weight, gearing, etc. V12 is a heavy SOB.

Edit: I might be putting my foot in my mouth. Apparently they're under rated and with a simple ($6k) tune can do 11 sec passes. Advertised numbers are around 362hp/400ft lbs. The S54 is producing 333hp with half the motor, not quite the torque though.

The 2003 model is a twin turbo. I'm going up against a 2002. E46_330i_Stud was right on it. My car and his CL600 has similar horsepower ranges.

Not to mention, his car weighs half a ton more.

Bench racing threads are terrible. Always have been. If you want to find out, take it to a legitimate quarter mile track. Drive in a straight line, which is not what the M3 was designed for. But hey, they do it in fast and the furious, right?

The cl 600 will win if you get a good launch I drive both cars those were my options when I was getting a car e46 m3 will rip it's balls off on a track just not In a straight line

Launch control you will be ahead at first then the v12 will fly bye

Lol just because my pops bought me the car does not mean I don't put my own cash into it. I'm a sales representative at Best Buy, I can afford to maintain my car (aside from the VANOS). It's alright though champ, my parents just worked harder then yours to get to where they are today.
