Clear corners and side markers in

Just installed some clear corner lights and side markers from DEPO. I think clear looks great with steel blue. What do y'all think?

The pre-facelift clears look good on Steel Blue

In general, I can't stand smoked lenses, but I do like them on the darker pre-facelift sedans (front only) as the 'clears' are more white and really stand out.

Any plans to for the rear lights?

although you have a Steel Blue sedan (which has other trim black) and mine was a coupe. I painted my headlamp inserts silver to blend in better with the clear corners. it looked real good, but hard to say if it'll also be as good on a sedan

Clear corners and side markers in

The clear corners are just way too white IMO and look off. I'd smoke them with some VHT nightshade or plasti-dip even.

Eh. Clears look good on a few colors, and if you are going to do them,do them all at once.

Interesting, I had one of the first Steel Blue coupes for years. With its silver sheen in the blue paint I felt it absolutely looked better and matched when the oe sport "clear" turn signals were swapped for the ambers.
here is my car i'm referring to

Clear corners and side markers in

I prefer the amber lenses, I want them on my car but we don't get them in the uk. Might have to do a Mod.

Re: Clear corners and side markers in

I think the crystal clear with black inserts look better. It makes for a seamless, one piece look.

Clear is the way to go with steel blue was one of my first "mods" and I don't regret it one bit, although you should have got oem sidemarkers. The depo ones suck and tend to yellow after a bit

Yeah on preface I don't the side facing headlight being just a straight line and not curved like our facelifts I think it throws it off

Thank you for the pics. The clears just don't flow as well as these

That photo is in the shade and looks like the tint of the whole photo changed some. Put the two side by side and in daylight and I doubt you'd feel the same.

then again people have different opinions on what looks good
