Pics of 19" rims on E46 pre-drop?
I was hoping that someone without sports package could post pics of 19" rims on an E46 prior to dropping. Before and after pics would be awesome. I just want to see what it would like.

It doesn't look bad, when not dropped.

I'm thinking of not dropping my car after getting 18" wheels this spring. I'll wait until they're installed, then decide. When it comes to going +2 or +3 in wheel size, if you don't have sport or mtech suspension, then I can totally understand needing a drop to prevent your car from transforming into BIG FOOT.

You could drop it. Probably H&R Sport or something a little lower than that.

Thanks for the pics guys. I'm getting 19" rims on my 325i this weekend and everyone has been telling me that I *HAVE* to drop the car and that it will look awful without it. Looking at these pics, it really doesn't look that bad. I can see that w/ drop it looks better, but I don't think it's the necessity it's made out to be. Is it just me?

2002 330i non-sport w/19's
No suspension mods yet, I just put the 19's on Thursday.
They are 19x8 front 235/35/19, and 19x9.5 rear 245/35/19. I don't like the looks of the rears, the tire seems stretched to fit such a wide rim. I would recommend running 19x8 at all four corners. -rok. |
