Exclamation Dealership claims im missing a harness for xenons?? (retrofit) HELP

So today, after paying $125 at Patrick BMW in schaumburg, IL , I was told that my retrofitted bi-xenon's cannot be re-flashed. They said I was missing a harness that connected to the LCM/ECU (w/e its called on these boards). Regardless, im confused as hell.

1. Is there really some harness that my non-xenon car had didnt have before hand?
2. If its BS, then I need an exact write up of how to use their GT1 machine and the exact flash
(I made a deal with them, that if they are wrong, they will do the new flash for free and give me back my money! IF im wrong, i pay for a second reflash)

My car 2003 325ci non-xenon stock. Putting on OEM aftermarket bi-xenons

Searches have been made, please dont flame

Well, how the hell do i prove them wrong haha. I have the chance to go back and have them reflash the system again, and if it works with my instructions, I get my $125 back . Thats why im searching for an exact answer of what to do with the GT1

I believe I was speaking with the shop you were working with on the phone yesterday. I truly believe they did not flash your car correctly. Your car is exhibiting all the symptoms of a car that is not flashed correctly- flickering, bulb out warning.

With that said, I am not sure how you are going to prove this to a dealer that does not know what they are doing. I suggested to your shop that they wire in capacitors to get rid of the problem rather than dealing with the reflash.

Just get a aftermarket wiring harness to get rid of your flickering and some plug and play capacitors so you don't get your bulb out error therefore not hassling with the dealership. Most dealerships are not happy with aftermarket setups and will do anything so they don't have to do the work as in the end if it doesn't work after they reflash, it opens up a new can of worms.

Understood, and thank you to everyone. So far, I have talked with the tech and this is exactly how he flashed it with the GT1:
moded general module and LCM

1. Opened up program
2.. Retrofit
3. Xenon Lights
4. Then hit program

I can make the resistors and or get aftermarket, but I want to prove to these people that they are doing something wrong, rather than just call it a day with the $125.00
