Trying to figure our what HID kit and color.

I've been searching the forums and cannot seem to come up with an answer. Half the reviews or descriptions of 6000K color temperature describe it as white/blue and half describe it as white/purple. Also I have seen a picture ( I can post if someone wants) of what looked closer to the white/purple description and I have seen quite a few pictures of the 6000k being white/blue. I'm very confused by this as I thought color was determined solely by bulb temperature. Is this a brand of hid issue or something else? I'm looking for more of a white with a bit of blue. Also has anyone had any experience with the brand ALPHA hid?

HID component brand and bulb does make a difference in the color temperature as well. Some HID companies will claim a 6000k when it's really an 8000k and vice versa. 6000k in it's more pure form is a pure white with a hint of blue. Here is a shot of a full prolumen 6000k HID setup which we have tested to be within 200 lumens of a 6000k color:
