License Plate LED Problem....Another One

I have an 05 330CI---got the LED license plate lights--I know they are sup. to stay on after shut off, but one side glows brighter than the other, and it kills my interior beeping when the lights are on and the door is open. They also flicker when in dim mode, one works, the other doesnt, only one of the LEDs turns on--put the stock back in, they work fine, the beep returns.....leads me to think either I have horrible luck, or the load is different with these LED's?

I switched the bulbs, it appeared to be the bulb, went to Jlevi, got a replacement, still does it--no corrosion on the connections.......they look great when on, but when they are in dim mode for that minute or two, they look like

Any input is appreciated

I think it has to do with your car's software coding. For some reason, it seems like some specific production runs react differently to this bulbs. I have never seen this on an E46 but in our experience with the E90s, some 06's have issues and some do not so it seems like BMW changes the software coding between production runs or depending on what options the car has.
