Yea, you could barely fit a pancake through the 1-2 and 3-2 connection.

Great Pics...a nice added thread for those who are thinking about installing the headers themself.

Ummm.... congrats.....

I don't know what you took off but everything I took off took about 15 minutes. Hardly much time wasted and it probably saved me some time since I had better access.

I live off of Riverside Pkwy and McKendree Church. If you see me it will be that black BMW driving crazy. =)

Everything is put back together. I just didn't feel like taking pictures putting the headers back on as I was very tired.

I'm wondering how much of a difference it makes too. I have a dyno after the supercharger. I did put in a 3.38 diff after the dyno but from what I hear, the final drive does not factor in the horsepower/torque readings. So my dyno should still be accurate. I will post it up whenever I get it done, but I don't have plans to do it anytime soon.

Haha I was wanting to race you until I saw that you had a ts2. That is awesome. Im really happy there is one in GA. If I end up getting one I might have to beg you for a ride before I drop that kind of money. But good job on the header install it seems like your going to have a pretty sweet car.

No prob. I love showing off my power.

Speaking of races, I raced a friend w/ a stock 330, and through 2nd gear, he was behind but kept up for the most part. I had a sloppy launch and had a lot of wheel hop. Once I shifted into 3rd and got traction, his lights became distant stars. Can't imagine how much further I would be ahead if I actually launched correctly.

did your studs come off when you un-bolted the stock headers? I had some that the 11mm bolts came off, and some with the entire stud. Now I have an ugly exhaust leak.

But nice work!

my studs came off for the most part, i went the extra step and took them all off, and bought a lot of bolts, and bolted the headers on with every available bolt hole. the only studs i kept were the corner studs. i'm determined to not get an exhaust leak.

Any local hardware store, like ace. Home depot and lowes likely wouldn't have them. Make sure you get at least grade 8.

I just reused all the studs and nuts. Just gotta know how to put the studs back in without damaging them. And I'll give you a hint, it isn't with pliers or vice-grips.
