330ci tail light question

Hey y'all
Got a few questions
I have a 330ci 2005 and the left tail lights seem to have some LED's out. The lens also looks like it had some condensation ion there. I am not sure what the deal is but I have 42k mi on the car and is still under factory warranty.
BMW said they would replace it under warranty? IS there a surcharge or a deductible? I have never brought a car in under warranty for anything before. Also
Is it a relatively simple fix>?

Also my spare key does not lock or unlock the doors or open the trunk. I have tried to "charge" the key by using it but no luck? Is this another big deal>? Warranty will cover>?
Just a few noob questions. Thanks in advance.

i feel like being nice today...so ill answer your questions

there will be no charge for swaping out an led tail, most likely the bond between the outer housing and inner housing came apart leting water/moisture in which fried the led board, it will be a real quick fix.

the key has a dead battery...they may not replace the key because when you buy the car/in the manual it tells you to switch keys every couple weeks to keep the batterys charged which you obviously did not do since its dead, they may be nice and give you a new one.

Thanks for your answer. I'll be sure to let the dealer know that I have been using both keys and the one just crapped out.
