Are you guys into suspension upgrades? Talk about night and day differences. Get correct springs for your weight and riding style, get valving that actually works and enjoy a huge difference in confidence and performance.
Dave Hodges www.gpsuspension.com does awesome work designing valving pistons. I know he does a ton of track support from club to AMA. Maybe you SoCal guys have met him out at Willow or Cal Speedway.

i wish i eventually i wanna get a rear shock, and maybe re valve the forks. but for now, i only have my sag adjusted, and once i hit the track in 2 weeks ill fine tune it. that alone makes quite a difference, untill you exceed the stock parameters, or your weight doesnt match it, at all.

yup, had the 919 for a couple of years and started to look at doing some mods to make the bike a bit more "fun." bought a f4i front end with rebuilt forks, f4i rotors nd calipers, and other goodies.

when i decided to start the project triumph was having a manufacturers rebate. took a test ride and i was hooked...can't imagine a better bike for the street

although this is a sportbike thread... I gotta say, my jaw dropped when I walked out of the gym this morning and saw a brand new matte black vrscdx parked right by me.

My Ride: is totaled
i fell off the bike for the first time today
had to brake suddenly and the rear started getting wobbly
when the bike stopped, i lost my balance and fell over
luckily just a few minor scrapes

but the bike didn't fare so well... the brake handle's bent
so the front brake's not working at all
rode it very carefully back home ... and plan on riding it in the middle of the night (to avoid traffic) with my friend driving behind me to take it to the shop

i upgraded my front end actually and installed some Ohlin's fork springs....huge difference when you can pick a spring spec'd to your body weight. I love it.

honestly i bet u most of what ur feeling is mental... unless ur REALLY pushing ur bike.. u dont need suspension... if ur feeling a difference... it's prob WAY to stiff or WAY to soft for the street...

or u live in a country/state that's ALL windy roads... and NO traffic where u ball EVERYWHERE lol
