Yes, it's up right. If it's slightly off towards the leg, it falls right into the zone. Slight lean away from the leg and I see nothing but oil in the window. I don't know when it was changed. Before I got it. The guy I bought it from bought it from a dealership and said he only rode it for 180 miles. It looks clear enough. It's probably due for an oil change, but I'd rather not do it THIS weekend.

I'd change the oil if I was you. Do you know if they used synthetic or not?

Well, if that's the case, just get your bike back.. hope that nothing is missing/broken, fix it up and get back to riding.. IN PROPER GEAR!

i cant even begin to explain the amount of stupidity at the inpound. Anyway bike started right up and i rode it out of there. brought a friend to help dad put it in the truck.

this was actually broken when i bought it. No slider. Is this a bolt to hold engine and frame together? I plan on new sliders, but it seems like there should be a bolt running vertically to pinch gap shut.

what is this? gonna have to drill out these bolts and replace them.

rearsets are broken on brake side. may try to do a temp repair. thinking of just getting some used stock rearsets and pegs or some ebay stuff.

from the accident:

you cant really see but ttheree is a nice chunk missing near the chin courtesy of a curb

Bad day yesterday...construction zone, random cones everywhere, me flipping over handle bars, separated shoulder. Brilliant!

^^^ Damn, that sucks. There really isn't a cure for a separated shoulder unless it's severe where they may do a surgical intervention. It is going to affect your riding a sportsbike as well because you're going to have a tough time putting weight on that arm. What grade is the separation? You'll have to strengthen a lot to compensate for the loss of joint stability. How did you fall? With an outstretched arm or on your shoulders? Were you wearing gear? If so, what gear?

they didn't put a degree on it...they just told me if it hurts don't do it and put me in a sling. Not too serious I guess. I was headed to work through construction zone, went to merge onto the highway (early) from the on-ramp and as I came around the truck in front of me I saw 2 of those waist-high construction cones/barrells with the sandbags inside a few feet in front of me sitting side by side. Nothing I could do but try and hang on. I did my best to lean back toward the right lane where I came from but I was too close and hit the one on the right...happened so fast I didn't even have time to get the "oh ****" feeling eventho I said it to myself in my head. Hit it head on, not sure what the bike did but I flipped over the handle bars landing square on my shoulder with my right hip to follow suit. Slid a little while alongside my bike, came to a stop at the same time (luckily it barely nudged me) and sat up to evaluate my injuries. Didn't feel much pain anywhere so I jumped up and attempted to pick up my bike. As I grabbed both sides of the handle bar and pulled up on them, a SHARP pain struck my shoulder and I dropped it right away. I called my buddies to come pick me up and spent the rest of the day in an alcohol and pill enduced blurr. Went to ER late at night (shorter lines) and was in and out in a less than 2 hours.
