Super annoyed with this guy that wants to trade me his bike. He told me that his friend dropped it (before we agreed on the trade), and that it's mechanically good, but it's getting painted and he ordered new fairings for it. First he told me it'll be ready on the 26th, then he told me it'll be ready on the 3rd, now he's telling me the fairings won't be in until the 10th!!!

I'm not defending this guy here per se, but if its getting painted a lot of delays might be caused by the shop, not him.

It's not the shop, he just keeps changing what he wants to do. First he said he's ordering new fairings. Then he said he's just going to have the damaged fairing fixed and painted. Then he said, he's ordering new fairings and they won't get here until the 20th of July. Then he said he cancelled that. Now he's saying he is ordering new fairings again and they will be here next week.

So I was looking at pics of supermotos and I came across a really strange trend.

step 1: buy a dirt bike
step 2: put superbike tires and brakes and stuff to make it a supermoto
step 3: race it in the dirt....

isnt the whole point of a supermoto is for the street....

Which plate should I get for my Ducati? I narrowed it down to DUCTHAT or DUC 1T (DUC IT was taken).

I think the point is both.
Check out some supermoto world championship races.
They do both.

BUT I'm pretty sure the suspension has to be modified to make them work well on the tar.
