well just had my first accident on monday. took a turn too fast and ended up in a ditch. fractured a bone in my foot and multiple bruises and sprains. bike landed on my legs and they were in an awkward position. if i wasn't wearing my gear i would be far worse off. bike isn't too bad. just need to replace nose fairing , mirror , mirror bracket , headlight and turn signals. scratches on the left side fairing should buff out. just super pi$$ed as i just put on red oem fairings i acquired at a very good price

All of the sudden the temperature dropped 30 degrees and it has been rainy for the last 3 days.

First three day stretch where I didn't ride since I've had the new bike.

Today I went on a ride with Jon (Rush4TheYehO) and a few of his friends for a short little spurt from Downtown Denver to Red Rocks amphitheater.

Congrats again on the purchase of your FZ6!

I can't wait to get some more riding in with ya dude ,

SOOOOO I'm looking to add a bike to my stable. the options are: 2006 an on R6 (R), 2007 and on ZX6R, 2007 and on CBR600RR, a Triumph 675, or a Ducati 749. Which one would you all pick? im gonna ride it 70% on the track, 30% on the street. I'm taking in consideration the availability of parts for when the inevitable happens and **** hits the fan on the track

To pick a track bike from that lot, i would go withthe R6 or the 600RR, with the nod to the 600RR because i love hondas more, but R6, wooooooiiiieeeeeeeeee what a track machine when set up right

yea, i was leaning towards the R6. the powerband on the cbr is awesome, although it is a little underpowered. the ZX6R has a slipper clutch which i like. But i think the R6 is the best all around. Did i miss a good bike from that list? Im not a big fan of the GSXR, although the 750 would be a monster on the track

id seek a 08+ R6, apparently the variable intake stack makes a HUGE difference if you get the YEC ECU reflash.
Also not a gixxer fans, and when i had my 06 R6, i never had a problem keeping up with most 750 riders. seriously...

I had the chance to take Jon to see some of the best CO canyons yesterday- popping his canyon-carving cherry. We had a good time and saw a lot, including a broken down matte black Murciélago off the highway on the way back!

Also- on the topic of track bike selection for mozm3, I think the R6 fits your needs petty well... although I personally would really like to get the chance to ride a Speed Triple 675 and see how she does. 3 cylinders, sexy styling... I'm definitely interested!

But for the availability and affordability of parts, in addition to a hell of a bike, I'd go R6 all day (like I did )

Ducati is offering 1.9% for all 2012 models including the non-ABS Panigale/Panigale S. I may jump on this!

...but damn, the 2013 Panigale will come in white. No 1.9% on 2013 models though.

So I sold my R1 to my room mate and I am now picking up a brand new 2013 S1000RR next week! I'm going all black with the gold forks and it is fully loaded with heated grips, ABS, DSC, etc... I took the demo bike that the dealership has out for a rather "aggressive" test ride and immediately fell in love. I can't wait to pick her up!
