FS: E46 Non-M Oil Cooler Kit w/ Oversize Setrab Cooler, VPD Filter Cap

Up for sale is my E46 Oil Cooler kit.

This comes with the following:
  • Setrab oil cooler
  • VPD custom billet aluminum CNC-machined oil filter cap which replaces the stock part and provides an easily accessible oil feed line for the cooler. (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)
  • Filter cap is pre-drilled for a 1/4 NPT sensor for your oil pressure/temp gauge. Comes with removable tap as I did not use this for my gauges.
  • Stainless braided lines with quality -10 AN Setrab fittings
  • Custom brackets that allow a simple install to the two bolts on the front of the radiator support bracket.
This kit on the track has shown a consistent 20 F drop in oil temperature and is a MUST for any serious racer or street car with a high HP application. These temperatures were personally obtained via a Defi Oil Temp. Sensor.

The fittings and oil filter cap have a few nicks on them from removal.

Here is a pic:

Will ship to lower 48 States.

Asking 550.00 OBO.

Bump for a nice kit. Mine is very similar (Old Mike Benvo's) and works great.

Of course it works. My temp gauge barely ever goes over 210. Before the oil cooler was in, I'd hit 220 regularly (with the VT kit though with oil cooled centrifugal blower). This adds a bit of insurance for my TS1 kit. Mine is essentially same as the OP's. It's a custom fabricated one by Mike Benvo with VPD cap and custom Setrab cooler. Oh, and you can't buy the VPD caps anymore. They are no longer in business I believe. So, this is probably a rare kit. Grab it while you can if you plan to track or do track alot.

^+1...

We would not hit over 220 F on the track in hot Florida summer and were running a TS Stage 2. This thing is really 'cool'.

Temps were verified by Defi BF series gauges which reminds me I still have the gauges laying around and have yet to get them ready for sale or swap into the new project.

grrr.... so far only low ballers and one of the solid potential buyers backed out. I guess if it was chrome it would sell easier on here. I keed. I keed.

EDIT: Definition of a low ball offer so as to not scare away potential buyers- one example would be offering less than 70% of the asking price with free shipping. This is already being sold at almost 50% of retail and is NO longer available anywhere. Just to be clear, I am in no rush to sell, but will entertain reasonable offers.
