Replacing shift knob

hi guys, I just got the hamann shift knob and I'm trying to take out the old one.. it wont come out! it's pretty hard to pull out.... any techniques ? :tongue: i tried putting the shifter on second and pull it out from there.. it still wont come out.. :sad: help!

heh...i keep pulling that thing off by accident when i race ..its really easy keep the shift knob like on 2nd or one of the bottem gears so its angleled and pull up ...dont be scared...heh
