Safari seems a lot faster than IE

I just had safari downloaded onto my IBM laptop. Just one of those random available software upgrade things from iTunes. I decided to give it a try, seems a hell of a lot quicker loading webpages than my Internet Explorer 7.0. Anyone try this on a non-apple computer? Do you agree or am I making this up.

Might make this my default browser...

If you take every version of IE, you get about 55% of the internet population, whereas Firefox 2.0 is 24-25% alone. IE is popular still only because of the people who could care less. It's the people that buy the pre built computers that only use it for email and word processing.

Safari sucks. I'd rather use IE than to use Safari.

It's better to use Opera than Safari, and it's much faster and more stable.

I've been using it, and I haven't had any issues. I have been liking it more than 2.0. The speed difference is definitely noticeable.

I think I already read the answer somewhere, but can you install 3 seperate of 2.0, or do you have to install over 2.0?
