Question Want Xm Radio In 2003 325i

I've been doing some research on how I should install XM radio in my 2003
325i. I have the business class cd with the wiring for the cd changer. Now I've seen 2 Blizrate models the SLD01 which requires the purchase of the XM
DIRECT XMD1000 adapter (total $183) or the SLD03 for (total $199) plus shipping at MYRadiostore.com also at BSW they have something they say will work for $229 plus shipping does anyone have any experience with this type of mod and any suggestions.

I just put XM in yesterday. You want the SLD01 and XM Direct XMD100. I got them for $172 shipped and there is a $40 rebate for the receiver ($132 total). Works out to be much less than the BSW package and they use the exact same parts.

SLD01 (Has pass through for CD CHnager or Ipod controls)

and the

XM Direct XMD 1000

Thumbs Up Thanks for the TIP

I ran across the SLD01 AND XM1000 DIRECT and was unsure if it was the same item offered by BSW but at a better price. They also list a SLD03 for 199 but I think I''m going to follow your lead unless someone posts a better solution. I contacted BSW and they said they will price match. Still i feel safer going your route us 46ERS gotta stick together

I bought one last month from myradiostore as well. They are the best as far as cust service goes. Buy the SLD01 unless you have the factory installed ipod adapter.

The installation was straight forward. good luck.

Thanks for the tip SUNNY. I really thought more people would respond. Maybe it's the new kid on the block treatment. I'm happy you reached out.
