Are Clears an easy DIY??(and ? re: red bulbs)
i wanna save a lil cash and do them all myself, will i mess up? Also, i would like to get the red "silvervisions" that S4play has found, but $50 for bulbs is too much. are there any red bulbs that i can paint myself for the same effect? has anyone done this? thanks

try a search on the .org
there was a guy (that subsequently got flamed, but don't let that discourage you) who bought some high temperature silver paint and gave his stock orange bulbs a thin coat of the silver paint... you have to have a holder for the bulbs tho cuz u don't want to be holding the bulbs when u paint them... good luck..

Polarg G01 Visual Red has a yellowish/greenish appearance when off and blink red when on. Retail for about $20 ea.
Anyone found them for cheaper? http://www.tuneshops.com/order-Light...lbs-1-3686.htm |

I was using Polarg M9, which blinks hyper white. But last week I got a fix-it ticket for using them. So now, I have to switch to either the G01 or go back to stock amber...ewh!

Depending on the laws in your area: blinking another color besides amber (red is ok in the rear) may warrant a ticket being issued to you.

However.. if you still wish to brake the law just use the bulbs from your original set and put them in .. instead of the amber bulbs provided with your clears. This will give you the white blinking light you are looking for.
