Get your shirts dry cleaned with light starch.

Yes, collar stays are designed to do exactly that. I have a brass set I use.

collar stays with magnets i have a set you can move the magnet to change the angle of your shirt collar ... can position in all kinds of ways and they do a good job of staying put and the set can double as your normal collar stay usually i just use them without the magnet instead of buying separate collar stays beats using the flimsy plastic ones

As mentioned, metal collar stays are important. However, you need to buy shirts that have taller collars to really get that look. Higher quality European/British brands tend to give you this look.
Charles Tyrwhitt, Thomas Pink, TM Lewin, Jacques Britt all give you this look and can be had on sale for reasonable prices. PS, you do not need to dry clean or starch your shirt to get this look. In fact, I would never send any high quality shirt that you care about to the cleaners. A lower quality shirt will never have a good looking collar... |

and you can arrange the magnet so there is a better collar roll or just a straighter standing collar
