DIY request&suggestion: Rear window controls
I've been wondering two things on my Coupe:
Is it possible to control both of my rear windows with only one switch? Can they be toggled to that the automatically close? I know they open automatically when toggled once, but you have to hold the switch until they are fully closed again. I was thinking for question one, that it may be possible to only use one rear window control and keep the other one free for other modding possibilities, ie Angel Eyes, NOS toggle, or when making an electronically controlled exhaust valve to toggle the exhaust volume (like what Remus has on their mufflers, but actually controllable from the inside of the car).

hmm, i hate that about the rear windows as well. i just don't use it pretty much. but you could try putting a front window switch in and somehow getting that to work. i'd try it, but too much work for something i don't even use.

The autoclose is programmable option. Dealer can activate/deactivate rear window to close just the way they open.

also if you want modding, I'd suggest these buttons to be placed either in the coin holder on the centre console, front ashtray, next to ASC if you have space.

![]() For instance, I was thinking of using the "freed up" rear window switch to make it an exhaust valve control mentioned here.
