WARNING: Crest Pro Health Toothpaste - Inner Oral Skin Peeling Off After Brushing

Anyone else getting this? I read other people on the net are going under the same side effects. I used to use Crest w/ Scope Strip, but Costco replaced it with Pro Health. Since I have noticed a large amount of internal oral skin peeling, I have gone to Ralphs to buy my old toothpaste. Just recommendation, I have read it also can leave brown stains. I reccommend avoiding this toothpaste at all costs. Even when I first used it I couldn't stand it, but the skin peeling was the final straw. Just thought to give you guys a heads up.

are you sure it's skin peeling?? i always just assumed that it was residue from the toothpaste. i've used several toothpastes in the past that would have this effect, but it never occurred to me that it would be skin, cuz it doesn't hurt or cause the inside surfaces of my mouth to be sensitive afterwards. nonetheless, regardless if it's skin or just toothpaste residue, it's annoying and i avoid toothpastes that do that.

I hate that ****. It leaves my gums well...gummy. It also kills me taste buds for the next 5 hours. I switched back to colgate total!

Yeah I just bought two tubes of this $hit last week because it was on sale. I can barely stand to use it.

Industrial strength tooth paste...

Many people were complaining of the Pro Health mouthwash leaving brown spots stained on their teeth. Some people went and had their teeth cleaned/whitened at the dentist and the stains were still there.

I prefer Colgate Total because it has triclosan. There are many more clinical studies of the triclosan benefit in Colgate Total than using Crest Pro health.

I have the crest with the scope strip which is fine. Are you talking about the one with blue in it that is kinda crunchy? That stuff is nasty

wow tha's crazy. I've been using Armon Hammer toothpaste for years, no problems. I figure since people have been brushing their teeth with the power for years, way before toothpaste, it shouldn't harm you, let alone, burn your mouth.
