Intake for ZHP?

HI all - I picked up an 03 ZHP, I've been searching on intakes - soo much info I'm just confused now

I'm looking at an intake to increase the "growl" - I'm not really looking for performance (5 hp or whatever). So:

1. Will an intake make a noise difference on a ZHP
2. What is the loudest?
3. Which sound the best?

My budget is $250 max, if I have to wait for a used one to come up (gruppeM) I will do so.

Sinoma CF Intake sounds amazing, I have that on my car right now, a little over you budget at $265 but its a replica GruppeM.

Cosmos Racing makes a very affordable intake that seems to be pretty popular especially on bimmerforums. I was thinking about switching out my Sinoma to one of these so I can run it down to my CSL Intake Hole.

I have a K&N 63 series CAI on mine, and the sound is awesome.

Did you get your K&N locally in Germany or did you order it from the States (I'm in Germany as well)

Just picked up authentic gruppe m last night for $225. It's my 1st performance mod and I'm super excited. Keep an eye out for deals bro... Installed today and it sounds dope. Only growls when i want it to

I ordered it from the states. If you go this route, remember to get a cleaning kit as well. It's kinda dusty in Germany as you probably already know.

I have the conforti CAI on my zhp and it sounds great. Just a little out of your price range new.
